This is a 5 mile Cross Country event in the MABAC Running League series. The senior race is just over 8 km (5 miles) there are also joggers and junior events of about 4 km (2.5 miles). The event is open ONLY to members and guests of the MABAC clubs.

By Car
- On the A24 southbound towards Dorking. Next after the Burford Bridge roundabout, at the Two Cyclists (Denbies) roundabout take the third (right) exit onto Bradley Lane and follow road up to Denbies main building. (10 minutes from J9 M25).
- On the A24 north bound from Dorking immediately after the bridge over the railway, at the Two Cyclists (Denbies) roundabout take first (left) exit onto Bradley Lane and as above.
There are directions as above, by public transport and bike and a map on the Denbies site https://www.denbies.co.uk/finding-us/ . Parking is free.
The course is similar to the Parkrun but 5 miles = two laps, in reverse direction.
The course will be well marked and have marshals.
Dos and don’ts for the event please… Please do:-
Bring sufficient water for personal consumption before and after the event. It is an evening near midsummer and it might have been a long day! There is no general water provision or facility at the event.
There is possible access by train ( Box Hill and Westhumble, Dorking main or Dorking Deepdene stations suitable if you can navigate but allow for a 1 K + walk or run).
Park in Denbies car parks as directed by marshals or following others and not on approach roads.
The start/ finish and place for gathering generally is in the usual Parkrun start/ finish square open field on the right of the buildings as you face them next to the car parks. See course map.
There will be:-
No changing facilities provided by MABAC/ DMVAC.
Access inside the Denbies building for toilets only.
Refreshments from the outside hatch for hot and cold drinks and snacks open from 6.30- 9p.m.
No water provided other than a modest contingency for emergencies or exceptional conditions.
No access to Denbies grounds generally other than the car parks, field at the start/ finish and the course itself. In particular please do not venture either between the vines or past Denbies Private or Keep Out type signs
